Sunday night...oh what a night
Well, my week/weekend was filled with all sorts of great news and fun which I really needed because lately I had been out of sorts with a lot of stuff and I think I am finally getting back into being me. This is of course until I have to pack up and leave again leaving behind all thats new and finally soaking in...but really, this time I think the only thing that will be the hardest is not being able to see J as much and leaving behind Monique, my partner.
Anyways, I had 4 of my great and wonderful, loving, gorgeous friends come in to town this past weekend. Friday night they arrived late so we all just hung out and talked and gossiped until about 130 am. Sat we got up early, and all got ready in 1 and a half hours...yes 5 people, showered and all! We went to the Mall of America. I spent $112 at H & M...got me 5 shirts, 1 pants, and 1 hat...nice work by me....but I am soooo glad I didnt really know how to get there before because I would have spent waaaaaay too much money every weekend..week day..minute...at H & M if I would have known, lol. After this we all ate slighty healthy since we are all on diets, lol...not kidding, and its nice to have 4 friends who are dieting and can hold you accountable and bitch and moan with you! lol. We went to IKEA...ok, Id like to get stuck there one night and have to sleep in one of the many amazing little set ups...I LOVED IT! I bought myself a "lazy susan" and an art eisle (sp) frame holder thingy. I have to call it a mini susan though because Jennifer seems to think that lazy susans are ONLY in kitchen corners and are as big as cabinets...lol. Well, me and my mini susan love it in this little cozy apartment...which oddly enough felt HUGE when they were here and now feels a bit lonely again :( We ended up going to Hard Rock Cafe in downtown (going off the diet) which was nice and wonderful for a night...and drinking Pickeled Tinks...best drink I have EVER tasted in my life! We were planning on going out, but 1-after eating everything on the menu we all were dieing and feeling fat 2-Beth got the flu :( I felt so bad for her...she kept telling us to go, but NO! We do not leave anyone behind! We hung out more and had some girlie time which was wonderful...and stinky...lol. We even got so delirious that we ended up singing most of our words and even the good night sweetheart sing from 3 men and a little baby...love that show. Sunday was the day for them to pack up and leave me :( but I had a great weekend with them and I am glad they came. Next weekend J is coming :) yay!!! After that my parents are coming with my sister Chris...my mom is leaving for Cabo Mexico with her sister for 3 weeks...my dads a bit annoyed, I think he is jealous. hehe. Schools almost over, yes...I really want it to be done.
So after they all left I ended up watcing TV for ever...and I mean forever, I didnt move an inch...well maybe to pee, but thats it. I watched the movie, Under the Tuscan Sun.....oh my god...I LOVE it. I want to move to Tuscany, I want a wedding in my back yard in Italy, I want polish men fixing up and ruining my house...and most of all, I want to see a cute little old man giving flowers to the love of his life everyday!!!! Oh, I wish my life was a movie.

If you have not seen this movie, you have to. It will make you cry, especially the beginning...damn men always screwing with peoples heads, grrrrr :)
Well, speaking of men...my best friend and my sister both got engaged this past week!!!! My best friend Becky has been dating my best guy friend Jake since junior yr in HIGH SCHOOL and they finally got engaged on Valentines day...it was a whole production and he did a great job!! My sister got engaged this Wed morning in Cancun out on the balcony of their condo...I know, rough huh? I have not seen the ring yet, but this guy owns like half the world, lol...Im sure its huge and she deserves it and I like him a lot :) He is already part of the family anyways, but now its official. I think he even asked my dad b/c my dad called me telling me to call my sis soon, then I said, you cant keep secrets, and he said, I didnt tell you anything! Oh dad. I tried on a wedding ring this weekend...it was cute, but nothing I wanted, the place wasnt "my type" of place to be trying on rings...little non real to me...It seemed like costumre jewelry, lol, but it was fun. I tried them on with one friend Beth who is terrified of getting married, lol, and one friend Becky (not the one who is engaged) who is pretty much married...well will be soon enough :)What a combo we made...I was ok for like 20 minutes then I got all hot and bothered...lol. Im such a weirdo.
Well, tomorrow our NWA stuff goes to client, and if it gets rejected, which I am sure it will (cant get the hopes up anymore..I am like 0 for 7 on things going to client in the last 2 qtrs) you can see it on my site. Then its off to the stupid Harley Race Ads...dumb, Im serious, dumb. Then Jason is coming this thurs night until Monday evening!!!! I hope his car makes it!!! :)HA! Oh, I have found a song that WILL be in my wedding some time in my life time...I want to tell everyone so they dont steal it...just dont steal it ok....its by Iron and Wine and its called Such Great Heights....I think Postal Service did a cover of it...but theirs sucks, this one rocks. :)

It's really funny you're talking about that movie. My Aunt's friend wrote that book "Under the Tuscan Sun" that the movie was made from.
